Continue to the coast for an unforgettable boat excursion to Benagil Cave, passing sculpted cliffs, secluded coves and magnificent rock formations. Travel west to Lagos, a historic seafaring town closely linked to Portugal’s Age of Discoveries. Explore its charming old town and enjoy free time for lunch, with the opportunity to sample the Algarve’s fresh fish and regional specialities.
Admire Lagos’s beautiful beaches, including Dona Ana and Camilo, from scenic coastal viewpoints, before discovering Ponta da Piedade, a breathtaking landscape of golden limestone pillars, natural arches and turquoise waters.
Continue to Sagres and visit its impressive fortress, set on a windswept promontory associated with Prince Henry the Navigator and Portugal’s maritime expansion. Entrance included.
